The Mechanical Power Engineering program at the Faculty of Engineering – Sinai University is committed to preparing scientifically, professionally and ethically qualified engineers capable of competing in the local and regional labor market, through providing outstanding engineering education, supporting scientific research and innovation, contributing to community service, and achieving sustainable development in the fields of energy and mechanical systems.

  • To provide students with a solid foundation in mechanical power engineering principles, including thermal and mechanical systems areas, including cross-linkage between the two areas.
  • To cultivate the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex engineering problems creatively, emphasizing practical applications and innovative solutions.
  • To prepare students for continuous learning to adapt to evolving technologies and trends in mechanical power engineering fields.
  • To equip students with the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for mechanical engineering practice to design, operate and maintain fluid and energy transfer systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, internal combustion engines and steam engines, verify their performance and solve their basic operational problems.
